Hexaprotodon is an extinct genus of hippopotamid that is sometimes referred to as the genus of pygmy hippos. The name Hexaprotodon means "six teeth in the front" and refers to the 6 teeth in the front, where modern hippos only have 4.
Small reparations were carried out on this skull; 70-80% of the specimen is original bone. The skull comes with a stand.
