A rare find in an old collection. A high quality rooted tooth of an undescribed crocodylomorph, potentially a juvenile Razanandrongobe sakalavae. The Razanandrongobe is the oldest known notosuchian, a gigantic crocodylomorph with teeth the size of a T. rex. The Razanandrongobe stood on top of the Jurassic food chain on the island and could easily kill large sauropods like the Botriospondilus.
Fossils from the Razanandrongobe sakalavae are extremely rare.
